Driver Age Requirements:
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years. However, age requirements and restrictions will apply for larger car groups.
The maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
A young driver’s fee of 7 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 70 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 21 years to 24 years.
A senior driver’s fee of 7 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 70 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 72 years to 75 years.
Driving License Requirements:
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license for at least:
1 year for mini, economy, compact, intermediate, standard, and full-size vehicle groups.
3 years for luxury and premium vehicle groups.
A valid driving license, ID or Passport, credit card and/ or debit card as well as the booking voucher are mandatory at the time of pick up.
A National Driving License is accepted, if you hold a valid driving license with Latin Characters. The license should be presented in physical form.
In case the National Driving License is not in Latin Characters, a valid International Driving License (IDP) is required. The International License should be presented in physical form and should always be accompanied by the original driving license.
*Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks, if needed, that may include an identity check with an external organization.
All additional drivers should have valid ID or Passport and the same license requirements as the main driver will apply.
Note:
Any additional driver(s) must be present in person along with the main driver to sign all the necessary documents and be registered as extra driver(s).
If the main driver does not have all the necessary documentation with them, and the additional driver does, then the broker must be contacted so that they can proceed with changing the main driver's details, if possible.
Insurance Coverage:
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
Collision Damage Waiver is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver limits customer’s responsibility in case of damage, up to the excess/deductible amount. The excess amount of CDW depends on the vehicle group (see table below).
In case of vehicle damage, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 40 EUR will be applied, on top of the excess amount per vehicle category.

Theft Protection (TP):
Theft protection is included in your rental amount.
Theft protection limits client's responsibility for loss or theft of the vehicle, up to the excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount of theft protection depends on the vehicle group.
In case of vehicle theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 40 EUR will apply, on top of the excess amount per vehicle category.
Third Party Liability Cover (TPL):
Third Party Liability cover is included in your rental amount.
Third Party Liability covers the damage for injuries/property damage caused to any third party, vehicle, or property.
Note:
The Accident Report should always be provided so that insurance covers are applied. If there is a third party involved to an accident, you should always call the police authorities to the accident area.
Premium Package / Collision Damage Waiver Plus (CDW+):
CDW+ is optional and reduces the excess amount, providing flexibility for clients who prefer not to cover the full excess amount or whose credit or debit card limits are insufficient. The price of CDW+ varies according to the vehicle group. If client choose to purchase the CDW+, a refundable deposit amount, according to the vehicle group, will be preauthorized on the credit / debit card. Super Premium Package / Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW):
SCDW is optional and reduces the excess amount to zero. By opting for SCDW, clients can significantly lower or eliminate the excess amount. The price of SCDW varies according to the vehicle group. For more information, please check at the rental desk.
*Please note that even when SCDW is purchased, a minor deposit may still be requested by the local supplier to cover additional costs such as traffic tickets, missing fuel, etc.
Insurance Exclusions/Voids:
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW does not cover: damages caused to the underside part of the vehicle, damages caused to the interior part of the vehicle, tire punctures, wheel damage, wind shield damage, wrong type of fuel, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, mirror damage, damage to the locks, car key loss or damage, damage to the antenna.
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of personal belongings that were in the vehicle, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, damage due to external causes such as fire, snow, hail, flood, radiation, vandalism, are not covered by any insurance.
In case of vehicle theft, Police Incident Report is mandatory and the original vehicle key must be presented. In case, you fail to have those, then the cover is void and the driver is responsible for the total amount of the vehicle.
Additional Fees:
1. You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive. Toll charges are automatically recorded through an electronic detection system at the toll gates and are billed to the customer at the end of the rental. A detailed breakdown can be provided upon request.
2. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. In the event of smoking detection, a penalty fee will be applied.
3. In the event of any traffic or parking violations during the rental period, any fines issued by the authorities will be charged to the renter, along with an administrative fee of 40 EUR.
4. If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition, whether interior and/or exterior, preventing proper inspection upon return, an additional cleaning fee will be applied, based on the vehicle’s condition.
Roadside Assistance:
Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 at no additional cost. The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for mechanical faults. In case roadside assistance is required due to driver negligence, such as lost keys, running out of fuel, or a depleted battery, a breakdown call-out fee will apply. In case of roadside assistance need, it is necessary to contact the local supplier directly. If the vehicle is driven off-road, on unpaved or poorly paved roads, or into any restricted areas, resulting in immobilization, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of towing. Vehicle replacement:
In the event of a vehicle breakdown requiring a replacement, the provision of a replacement vehicle is subject to the availability of the same vehicle group and the local supplier’s fleet. In such cases, the replacement will be arranged within 48 hours and will occur at the same rental location where the vehicle was originally collected. In case the vehicle breakdown is caused by the driver’s negligence, and following the submission of a police or insurance report, the Company has the right to designate the Driver as “Not Fit to Drive.” In such cases, the Company reserves the right not to replace the vehicle and/ or revoke the driving authorization of the driver.
Fuel Policy:
Same to Same fuel policy - The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. In case the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee of 20 EUR will apply in addition to the cost per liter for the missing fuel based at the current market rates. In case the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at the time of pick-up, no refund will be issued.
Geographic restrictions:
Cross Border Travel- Cross border travel is not allowed.
Driving Restrictions- Driving on unpaved or poorly paved roads and off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle’s insurance will not cover any damage resulting from such use, and the renter will be fully liable for all associated damages. In case of violation, an off-road penalty might apply.
Ferry Use- Travel by ferry is allowed solely upon request at the rental desk and an additional charge will apply. *Please note that NO insurance covers damages during transportation by ferry.
Payment Methods:
Visa and MasterCard credit / debit cards and Cash are accepted for rental amount payment. Payments can be processed using a physical card or via contactless/wireless methods.
Not Accepted: American Express, Diners, prepaid cards, numberless or nameless cards, neobanks cards.
*Surcharge Notice: Please note that a credit or debit card surcharge may apply when processing your payment. The amount of any such surcharge is determined solely by the issuing bank or financial institution and the Company shall not be held responsible for such fees.
Deposit/ Pre-authorization Methods:
Accepted cards for deposit are solely Visa and MasterCard (credit/debit). The card must be in the main driver's name and presented in physical form at the time of vehicle pick-up.
The excess amount will be pre-authorized/ blocked for up to 30 business days, depending on the client's bank. The company shall not be responsible for any delays in the release of the deposit.
Please note that if a debit card is used for the security deposit, the release period may be significantly longer and is determined solely by the client’s bank.
Not Accepted: American Express, Diners, prepaid cards, numberless or nameless cards, neobanks cards.
Delivery / Collection Service:
Delivery and collection service is upon request. Please send your request at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to reservations@carq.rent .
For delivery and collection services, additional charges per kilometer may apply. Please consult the rental office for further details.
Out of Hours Vehicle Delivery / Collection:
Out of hours pick-up and drop-off are available for an additional charge of 25 EUR per service. If this fee is not included in your voucher, it must be paid at the rental desk prior to the vehicle pick-up. Out of hours charges apply in all cases (Flight delay, customer delay, etc.)
Grace Period:
Vehicle pick-up policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time is allowed. After this period, the reservation will be considered a No-Show and may be cancelled without prior notice. Should the client arrive after the grace period and the vehicle remains available, a late fee of 20 EUR shall apply; during the period from June to August, the late fee shall be 40 EUR. In case the client arrives prior to scheduled pick-up time and the vehicle is not available; client should wait for the car to be prepared. For early pick-ups exceeding six hours before the scheduled time, the supplier reserves the right to charge an additional day’s rental.
Vehicle drop-off policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled drop-off time indicated on your booking voucher is permitted. If the vehicle is returned after this period, an additional day(s) charge will apply, based at the current daily rental rate.
No refund will be issued for early returns, a reduction in the number of rental days from the confirmed reservation, or if the vehicle is downgraded at the customer’s choice to a lower category than originally booked. For further details, please consult the rental desk.
Amendments to bookings:
Should the client experience any delay in his scheduled pick-up time, you are requested to contact our partner’s office immediately via the Partner Emergency Phone (indicated on the rental agreement), or alternatively, by email at info@carq.rent or by phone at +30 2811217126. Failure to do so, may result in unnecessary delays, additional charges, or unavailability of the vehicle. In case that client has provided his flight information, we will make every effort to monitor clients’ arrival. If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, the supplier shall not be held responsible for failing to provide the booked vehicle.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Company will issue refund for the exact amount charged, excluding any banking fees or currency conversion differences.
GDPR Notice:
Personal data collected during the booking process, including but not limited to identification, payment, and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of managing client’s reservation, ensure vehicle safety and comply with legal obligations.
Client’s personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Third Party Liability Cover (TPL):
Third Party Liability cover is included in your rental amount.
Third Party Liability covers the damage for injuries/property damage caused to any third party, vehicle, or property.
Note:
The Accident Report should always be provided so that insurance covers are applied. If there is a third party involved to an accident, you should always call the police authorities to the accident area.
Premium Protection / Collision Damage Waiver Plus (CDW+):
CDW+ is optional and reduces the excess amount, providing flexibility for clients who prefer not to cover the full excess amount or whose credit or debit card limits are insufficient. The price of CDW+ varies according to the vehicle group. If client choose to purchase the CDW+, a refundable deposit amount, according to the vehicle group, will be preauthorized on the credit / debit card. Super Premium Cover / Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW):
SCDW is optional and reduces the excess amount to zero. By opting for SCDW, clients can significantly lower or eliminate the excess amount. The price of SCDW varies according to the vehicle group. For more information, please check at the rental desk.
*Please note that even when SCDW is purchased, a minor deposit may still be requested by the local supplier to cover additional costs such as traffic tickets, missing fuel, etc.
Insurance Exclusions/Voids:
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW does not cover: damages caused to the underside part of the vehicle, damages caused to the interior part of the vehicle, tire punctures, wheel damage, wind shield damage, wrong type of fuel, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, mirror damage, damage to the locks, car key loss or damage, damage to the antenna.
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of personal belongings that were in the vehicle, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, damage due to external causes such as fire, snow, hail, flood, radiation, vandalism, are not covered by any insurance.
In case of vehicle theft, Police Incident Report is mandatory and the original vehicle key must be presented. In case, you fail to have those, then the cover is void and the driver is responsible for the total amount of the vehicle.
Additional Fees:
1. You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive.
2. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. In the event of smoking detection, a penalty fee will be applied.
3. In the event of any traffic or parking violations during the rental period, any fines issued by the authorities will be charged to the renter, along with an administrative fee of 40 EUR.
4. If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition, whether interior and/or exterior, preventing proper inspection upon return, an additional cleaning fee will be applied, based on the vehicle’s condition.
Roadside Assistance:
Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 at no additional cost. The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for mechanical faults. In case roadside assistance is required due to driver negligence, such as lost keys, running out of fuel, or a depleted battery, a breakdown call-out fee will apply. In case of roadside assistance need, it is necessary to contact the local supplier directly. If the vehicle is driven off-road, on unpaved or poorly paved roads, or into any restricted areas, resulting in immobilization, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of towing. Vehicle replacement:
In the event of a vehicle breakdown requiring a replacement, the provision of a replacement vehicle is subject to the availability of the same vehicle group and the local supplier’s fleet. In such cases, the replacement will be arranged within 48 hours and will occur at the same rental location where the vehicle was originally collected. In case the vehicle breakdown is caused by the driver’s negligence, and following the submission of a police or insurance report, the Company has the right to designate the Driver as “Not Fit to Drive.” In such cases, the Company reserves the right not to replace the vehicle and/ or revoke the driving authorization of the driver.
Fuel Policy:
Same to Same fuel policy - The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. In case the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee will apply in addition to the cost per liter for the missing fuel based at the current market rates. In case the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at the time of pick-up, no refund will be issued.
Geographic restrictions:
Cross Border Travel- Cross border travel is allowed upon request at the rental desk and there is an extra charge of 100 EUR. Written permission by the supplier at the rental desk is needed. Allowed cross border travel areas: European Union countries, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania.
Driving Restrictions- Driving on unpaved or poorly paved roads and off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle’s insurance will not cover any damage resulting from such use, and the renter will be fully liable for all associated damages. In case of violation, an off-road penalty might apply.
Ferry Use- Travel by ferry is allowed solely upon request at the rental desk and an additional charge will apply. *Please note that NO insurance covers damages during transportation by ferry.
Payment Methods:
Visa and MasterCard credit / debit cards and Cash are accepted for rental amount payment. Payments can be processed using a physical card or via contactless/wireless methods.
Not Accepted: American Express, Diners, prepaid cards, numberless or nameless cards, neobanks cards.
*Surcharge Notice: Please note that a credit or debit card surcharge may apply when processing your payment. The amount of any such surcharge is determined solely by the issuing bank or financial institution and the Company shall not be held responsible for such fees.
Deposit/ Pre-authorization Methods:
Accepted cards for deposit are solely Visa and MasterCard (credit/debit). The card must be in the main driver's name and presented in physical form at the time of vehicle pick-up.
The excess amount will be pre-authorized/ blocked for up to 30 business days, depending on the client's bank. The company shall not be responsible for any delays in the release of the deposit.
Please note that if a debit card is used for the security deposit, the release period may be significantly longer and is determined solely by the client’s bank.

Delivery / Collection Service:
Delivery and collection service is upon request. Please send your request at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to reservations@carq.rent .

Out of Hours Vehicle Delivery / Collection:
Out of hours pick-up and drop-off are available for an additional charge of 40 EUR per service. If this fee is not included in your voucher, it must be paid at the rental desk prior to the vehicle pick-up. Out of hours charges apply in all cases (Flight delay, customer delay, etc.)
Grace Period:
Vehicle pick-up policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time is allowed. After this period, the reservation will be considered a No-Show and may be cancelled without prior notice. Should the client arrive after the grace period and the vehicle remains available, a late fee of 20 EUR shall apply; during the period from June to August, the late fee shall be 40 EUR. In case the client arrives prior to scheduled pick-up time and the vehicle is not available; client should wait for the car to be prepared. For early pick-ups exceeding six hours before the scheduled time, the supplier reserves the right to charge an additional day’s rental.
Vehicle drop-off policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled drop-off time indicated on your booking voucher is permitted. If the vehicle is returned after this period, an additional day(s) charge will apply, based at the current daily rental rate.
No refund will be issued for early returns, a reduction in the number of rental days from the confirmed reservation, or if the vehicle is downgraded at the customer’s choice to a lower category than originally booked. For further details, please consult the rental desk.
Amendments to bookings:
Should the client experience any delay in his scheduled pick-up time, you are requested to contact our partner’s office immediately via the Partner Emergency Phone (24/7 service), or alternatively, by email at info@carq.rent or by phone at +30 2811217126. Failure to do so, may result in unnecessary delays, additional charges, or unavailability of the vehicle. In case that client has provided his flight information, we will make every effort to monitor clients’ arrival. If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, the supplier shall not be held responsible for failing to provide the booked vehicle.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Company will issue refund for the exact amount charged, excluding any banking fees or currency conversion differences.
GDPR Notice:
Personal data collected during the booking process, including but not limited to identification, payment, and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of managing client’s reservation, ensure vehicle safety and comply with legal obligations.
Client’s personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Driver Age Requirements:
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years. However, age requirements and restrictions will apply for larger car groups.
The maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
A young driver’s fee of 5 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 50 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 21 years to 24 years.
A senior driver’s fee of 5 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 50 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 72 years to 75 years.
Driving License Requirements:
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license for at least:
1 year for mini, economy, compact, intermediate, standard, and full-size vehicle groups.
3 years for luxury and premium vehicle groups.
A valid driving license, ID or Passport, credit card and/ or debit card as well as the booking voucher are mandatory at the time of pick up.
A National Driving License is accepted, if you hold a valid driving license with Latin Characters. The license should be presented in physical form.
In case the National Driving License is not in Latin Characters, a valid International Driving License (IDP) is required. The International License should be presented in physical form and should always be accompanied by the original driving license.
*Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks, if needed, that may include an identity check with an external organization.
All additional drivers should have valid ID or Passport and the same license requirements as the main driver will apply.
Note:
Any additional driver(s) must be present in person along with the main driver to sign all the necessary documents and be registered as extra driver(s).
If the main driver does not have all the necessary documentation with them, and the additional driver does, then the broker must be contacted so that they can proceed with changing the main driver's details, if possible.

4. If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition, whether interior and/or exterior, preventing proper inspection upon return, an additional cleaning fee will be applied, based on the vehicle’s condition.
Roadside Assistance:
Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 at no additional cost. The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for mechanical faults. In case roadside assistance is required due to driver negligence, such as lost keys, running out of fuel, or a depleted battery, a breakdown call-out fee will apply. In case of roadside assistance need, it is necessary to contact the local supplier directly. If the vehicle is driven off-road, on unpaved or poorly paved roads, or into any restricted areas, resulting in immobilization, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of towing. Vehicle replacement:
In the event of a vehicle breakdown requiring a replacement, the provision of a replacement vehicle is subject to the availability of the same vehicle group and the local supplier’s fleet. In such cases, the replacement will be arranged within 48 hours and will occur at the same rental location where the vehicle was originally collected. In case the vehicle breakdown is caused by the driver’s negligence, and following the submission of a police or insurance report, the Company has the right to designate the Driver as “Not Fit to Drive.” In such cases, the Company reserves the right not to replace the vehicle and/ or revoke the driving authorization of the driver.
Fuel Policy:
Same to Same fuel policy - The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. In case the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee will apply in addition to the cost per liter for the missing fuel based at the current market rates. In case the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at the time of pick-up, no refund will be issued.
Geographic restrictions:
Cross Border Travel- Cross border travel is not allowed.
Driving Restrictions- Driving on unpaved or poorly paved roads and off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle’s insurance will not cover any damage resulting from such use, and the renter will be fully liable for all associated damages. In case of violation, an off-road penalty might apply.
Ferry Use- Travel by ferry is allowed solely upon request at the rental desk and an additional charge will apply. *Please note that NO insurance covers damages during transportation by ferry.

Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted for rental amount payment. Payments can be processed using a physical card or via contactless/wireless methods.

The excess amount will be pre-authorized/ blocked for up to 30 business days, depending on the client's bank. The company shall not be responsible for any delays in the release of the deposit.
Please note that if a debit card is used for the security deposit, the release period may be significantly longer and is determined solely by the client’s bank.

Delivery / Collection Service:

Out of hours pick-up and drop-off are available free of charge.
Grace Period:
Vehicle pick-up policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time is allowed. After this period, the reservation will be considered a No-Show and may be cancelled without prior notice. Should the client arrive after the grace period and the vehicle remains available, a late fee of 20 EUR shall apply; during the period from June to August, the late fee shall be 40 EUR. In case the client arrives prior to scheduled pick-up time and the vehicle is not available; client should wait for the car to be prepared. For early pick-ups exceeding six hours before the scheduled time, the supplier reserves the right to charge an additional day’s rental.
Vehicle drop-off policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled drop-off time indicated on your booking voucher is permitted. If the vehicle is returned after this period, an additional day(s) charge will apply, based at the current daily rental rate.
No refund will be issued for early returns, a reduction in the number of rental days from the confirmed reservation, or if the vehicle is downgraded at the customer’s choice to a lower category than originally booked. For further details, please consult the rental desk.
Amendments to bookings:
Should the client experience any delay in his scheduled pick-up time, you are requested to contact our partner’s office immediately via the Partner Emergency Phone (24/7 service), or alternatively, by email at info@carq.rent or by phone at +30 2811217126. Failure to do so, may result in unnecessary delays, additional charges, or unavailability of the vehicle. In case that client has provided his flight information, we will make every effort to monitor clients’ arrival. If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, the supplier shall not be held responsible for failing to provide the booked vehicle.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Company will issue refund for the exact amount charged, excluding any banking fees or currency conversion differences.
GDPR Notice:
Personal data collected during the booking process, including but not limited to identification, payment, and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of managing client’s reservation, ensure vehicle safety and comply with legal obligations.
Client’s personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Driver Age Requirements:
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years. However, age requirements and restrictions will apply for larger car groups.
The maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
A young driver’s fee of 7 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 70 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 21 years to 24 years.
A senior driver’s fee of 7 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 70 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 72 years to 75 years.
Driving License Requirements:
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license for at least:
1 year for mini, economy, compact, intermediate, standard, and full-size vehicle groups.
3 years for luxury and premium vehicle groups.
A valid driving license, ID or Passport, credit card and/ or debit card as well as the booking voucher are mandatory at the time of pick up.
A National Driving License is accepted, if you hold a valid driving license with Latin Characters. The license should be presented in physical form.
In case the National Driving License is not in Latin Characters, a valid International Driving License (IDP) is required. The International License should be presented in physical form and should always be accompanied by the original driving license.
*Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks, if needed, that may include an identity check with an external organization.
All additional drivers should have valid ID or Passport and the same license requirements as the main driver will apply.
Note:
Any additional driver(s) must be present in person along with the main driver to sign all the necessary documents and be registered as extra driver(s).
If the main driver does not have all the necessary documentation with them, and the additional driver does, then the broker must be contacted so that they can proceed with changing the main driver's details, if possible.

Premium Package / Collision Damage Waiver Plus (CDW+):
CDW+ is optional and reduces the excess amount, providing flexibility for clients who prefer not to cover the full excess amount or whose credit or debit card limits are insufficient. The price of CDW+ varies according to the vehicle group. If client choose to purchase the CDW+, a refundable deposit amount, according to the vehicle group, will be preauthorized on the credit / debit card. Super Premium Package / Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW):
SCDW is optional and reduces the excess amount to zero. By opting for SCDW, clients can significantly lower or eliminate the excess amount. The price of SCDW varies according to the vehicle group. For more information, please check at the rental desk.
*Please note that even when SCDW is purchased, a minor deposit may still be requested by the local supplier to cover additional costs such as traffic tickets, missing fuel, etc.
Insurance Exclusions/Voids:
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW does not cover: damages caused to the underside part of the vehicle, damages caused to the interior part of the vehicle, tire punctures, wheel damage, wind shield damage, wrong type of fuel, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, mirror damage, damage to the locks, car key loss or damage, damage to the antenna.
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of personal belongings that were in the vehicle, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, damage due to external causes such as fire, snow, hail, flood, radiation, vandalism, are not covered by any insurance.

Out of hours pick-up and drop-off are available for an additional charge of 40 EUR per service. If this fee is not included in your voucher, it must be paid at the rental desk prior to the vehicle pick-up. Out of hours charges apply in all cases (Flight delay, customer delay, etc.)
Grace Period:
Vehicle pick-up policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time is allowed. After this period, the reservation will be considered a No-Show and may be cancelled without prior notice. Should the client arrive after the grace period and the vehicle remains available, a late fee of 20 EUR shall apply; during the period from June to August, the late fee shall be 40 EUR. In case the client arrives prior to scheduled pick-up time and the vehicle is not available; client should wait for the car to be prepared. For early pick-ups exceeding six hours before the scheduled time, the supplier reserves the right to charge an additional day’s rental.
Vehicle drop-off policy:
A grace period of 60 minutes from the scheduled drop-off time indicated on your booking voucher is permitted. If the vehicle is returned after this period, an additional day(s) charge will apply, based at the current daily rental rate.
No refund will be issued for early returns, a reduction in the number of rental days from the confirmed reservation, or if the vehicle is downgraded at the customer’s choice to a lower category than originally booked. For further details, please consult the rental desk.
Amendments to bookings:
Should the client experience any delay in his scheduled pick-up time, you are requested to contact our partner’s office immediately via the Partner Emergency Phone (24/7 service), or alternatively, by email at info@carq.rent or by phone at +30 2811217126. Failure to do so, may result in unnecessary delays, additional charges, or unavailability of the vehicle. In case that client has provided his flight information, we will make every effort to monitor clients’ arrival. If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, the supplier shall not be held responsible for failing to provide the booked vehicle.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Company will issue refund for the exact amount charged, excluding any banking fees or currency conversion differences.
GDPR Notice:
Personal data collected during the booking process, including but not limited to identification, payment, and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of managing client’s reservation, ensure vehicle safety and comply with legal obligations.
Client’s personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Driver Age Requirements:
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years. However, age requirements and restrictions will apply for larger car groups.
The maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
A young driver’s fee of 5 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 50 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 21 years to 24 years.
A senior driver’s fee of 5 EUR per day, up to a maximum charge of 50 EUR per rental will apply to drivers from 72 years to 75 years.
Driving License Requirements:
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license for at least:
1 year for mini, economy, compact, intermediate, standard, and full-size vehicle groups.
3 years for luxury and premium vehicle groups.
A valid driving license, ID or Passport, credit card and/ or debit card as well as the booking voucher are mandatory at the time of pick up.
A National Driving License is accepted, if you hold a valid driving license with Latin Characters. The license should be presented in physical form.
In case the National Driving License is not in Latin Characters, a valid International Driving License (IDP) is required. The International License should be presented in physical form and should always be accompanied by the original driving license.
*Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks, if needed, that may include an identity check with an external organization.
All additional drivers should have valid ID or Passport and the same license requirements as the main driver will apply.
Note:
Any additional driver(s) must be present in person along with the main driver to sign all the necessary documents and be registered as extra driver(s).
If the main driver does not have all the necessary documentation with them, and the additional driver does, then the broker must be contacted so that they can proceed with changing the main driver's details, if possible.

Theft Protection (TP):
Theft protection is included in your rental amount.
Theft protection limits client's responsibility for loss or theft of the vehicle, up to the excess/deductible amount.

Third Party Liability Cover (TPL):
Third Party Liability cover is included in your rental amount.
Third Party Liability covers the damage for injuries/property damage caused to any third party, vehicle, or property.
Note:
The Accident Report should always be provided so that insurance covers are applied. If there is a third party involved to an accident, you should always call the police authorities to the accident area.
Premium Package / Collision Damage Waiver Plus (CDW+):
CDW+ is optional and reduces the excess amount, providing flexibility for clients who prefer not to cover the full excess amount or whose credit or debit card limits are insufficient. The price of CDW+ varies according to the vehicle group. If client choose to purchase the CDW+, a refundable deposit amount, according to the vehicle group, will be preauthorized on the credit / debit card. Super Premium Package / Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW):
SCDW is optional and reduces the excess amount to zero. By opting for SCDW, clients can significantly lower or eliminate the excess amount. The price of SCDW varies according to the vehicle group. For more information, please check at the rental desk.
*Please note that even when SCDW is purchased, a minor deposit may still be requested by the local supplier to cover additional costs such as traffic tickets, missing fuel, etc.
Insurance Exclusions/Voids:
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW does not cover: damages caused to the underside part of the vehicle, damages caused to the interior part of the vehicle, tire punctures, wheel damage, wind shield damage, wrong type of fuel, damage to lights or lenses, mechanical damage, mirror damage, damage to the locks, car key loss or damage, damage to the antenna.
CDW / CDW+ / SCDW will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of personal belongings that were in the vehicle, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, damage due to external causes such as fire, snow, hail, flood, radiation, vandalism, are not covered by any insurance.
In case of vehicle theft, Police Incident Report is mandatory and the original vehicle key must be presented. In case, you fail to have those, then the cover is void and the driver is responsible for the total amount of the vehicle.
Additional Fees:
1. You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive.
2. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. In the event of smoking detection, a penalty fee will be applied.
3. In the event of any traffic or parking violations during the rental period, any fines issued by the authorities will be charged to the renter, along with an administrative fee of 35 EUR.
4. If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition, whether interior and/or exterior, preventing proper inspection upon return, an additional cleaning fee will be applied, based on the vehicle’s condition.
Roadside Assistance:
Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 at no additional cost. The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for mechanical faults. In case roadside assistance is required due to driver negligence, such as lost keys, running out of fuel, or a depleted battery, a breakdown call-out fee will apply. In case of roadside assistance need, it is necessary to contact the local supplier directly. If the vehicle is driven off-road, on unpaved or poorly paved roads, or into any restricted areas, resulting in immobilization, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of towing. Vehicle replacement:
In the event of a vehicle breakdown requiring a replacement, the provision of a replacement vehicle is subject to the availability of the same vehicle group and the local supplier’s fleet. In such cases, the replacement will be arranged within 48 hours and will occur at the same rental location where the vehicle was originally collected. In case the vehicle breakdown is caused by the driver’s negligence, and following the submission of a police or insurance report, the Company has the right to designate the Driver as “Not Fit to Drive.” In such cases, the Company reserves the right not to replace the vehicle and/ or revoke the driving authorization of the driver.
Fuel Policy:
Same to Same fuel policy - The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. In case the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee will apply in addition to the cost per liter for the missing fuel based at the current market rates. In case the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at the time of pick-up, no refund will be issued.
Geographic restrictions:
Cross Border Travel- Cross border travel is allowed upon request at the rental desk and there is an extra charge of 35 EUR per country. Not allowed cross border areas: Kosovo.
Driving Restrictions- Driving on unpaved or poorly paved roads and off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle’s insurance will not cover any damage resulting from such use, and the renter will be fully liable for all associated damages. In case of violation, an off-road penalty might apply.
Ferry Use- Travel by ferry is allowed solely upon request at the rental desk and an additional charge will apply. *Please note that NO insurance covers damages during transportation by ferry.

In case that client has provided his flight information, we will make every effort to monitor clients’ arrival. If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, the supplier shall not be held responsible for failing to provide the booked vehicle.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Company will issue refund for the exact amount charged, excluding any banking fees or currency conversion differences.

Personal data collected during the booking process, including but not limited to identification, payment, and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of managing client’s reservation, ensure vehicle safety and comply with legal obligations.
Client’s personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
